The Spanish Formula 1 driver of Scuderia Ferrari, Carlos Sainz, makes his debut in the Spanish karting with his brand CS55 Racing proving the material that will be used in the Karting Academy, the entry level category called by the Royal Spanish Automobile Federation.

On February Sainz announced the creation of a new brand, CS55 Racing, produced by OTK Kart Group, the Italian company with which the Madrilenian driver had been driving during his first karting years. Thanks to this technical collaboration and to Carlos Sainz’ interest in supporting the Spanish karting, CS55 Racing will be the brand used by the drivers between 6 and 8 years old. All the drivers will race in the Karting Academy category in the Spanish Karting Championship (CEK Finetwork) starting from this year.

The Spanish driver usually works out on kart as preparation for Formula 1 season and, on many occasions, he confessed that karting is not only a training but also a passion since he was a child. Proof of that is his new products dedicated to kart, born from the collaboration with OTK Kart Group, world leader in racing karts. With 40 years of experience in this field, the Italian company designs and trades chassis, engines and spare parts, always following the philosophy “100% made in OTK”.

The CS55 Racing Karting Academy category is the best chance to enter the Spanish racing world and its costs are very low to give young drivers the opportunity to start this discipline.

The Spanish Karting Championship (CEK Finetwork) is starting this season on the weekend from the 19th to the 21st of April on the circuit of Campillos, Malaga, where the CS55 Racing Karting Academy drivers will compete with the mentioned materials and colors.
